MITZEL - On April 4, 1945 at 7:10 a.m. suddenly at Wiest's Department store, 
Melvin Felix Mitzel, husband of Mrs. Carrie Ream Mitzel, York RD 2, aged 65 
years 1 month 6 days.
     Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Earl B. 
Burg Funeral home, Red Lion, Saturday afternoon, April 7, at 1:30 o'clock. 
Interment in Red Lion cemetery. 
     Friends may call at the Earl B. Burg and Son funeral home Friday evening 
7 to 9.

Melvin Felix Mitzel
Melvin Felix Mitzel, husband of Carrie Ream Mitzel, York RD 2, died suddenly 
yesterday morning at 7:10 o'clock at Wiest's Department store, where he was 
employed recently as a day porter. He was the son of the late Henry and Emma 
Hoyt Mitzel. Mr. Mitzel, who had been previously employed on the farm of 
Melvin Brenneman, Winterstown, several weeks ago moved to the home of his 
daughter, Alvetta B. Mitzel, York RD 2, until he could take possession of his 
recently purchased home in York.
     The survivors, in addition to his wife and daughter are three sons, 
Howard Mitzel, 945 West College Avenue; Melvin S. Mitzel, Jacobus, and Warren 
H. Mitzel, Shrewsbury and 1 grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles Mitzell, pastor of the 
Shrewsbury Reformed charge, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Earl 
B. Burg Funeral home, Red Lion. Interment will be in Red Lion cemetery.
