DEATH REMOVES RALPH A. MITZEL

Former City Treasurer Dies After Short Illness from Complicathio of
Diseases

35 YEARS WITH P.R.R.
Ralph A. MITZEL, a former city treasurer, and for a period of 35 years an 
employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad, died at  10:25 o'clock last night
at his home, 121 West Philadelphia Street, from a complication diseases 
following a short illness.
       At the time of his death the deceased was a ca--- at the local freight 
office of the P. R. R. , a position which he held for a number of years.  He 
was elected to the office of city treasurer for one term on the Republican 
ticket and a number of years ago he served as registrar vital statistics for 
the city 
district.
      Mr. MITZEL was a member of the White Rose chapter No. 706,  F. and A. 
M.: Yorktown chapter No. 304, Royal Arch Masons; Gethsemane commandery No. 75, 
Knights Templer;  York Forest No. 30, Tall Cedars of Lebanon; the Zembo 
shrine, Harrisburg ant the local lodge of Elks. He was also a member of 
Heidelberg Reformed Church.
     The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie L. MITZEL, and one 
sister, Mrs. Paul F. BAHN.

MITZEL  - On June 5, 1934, at 10:25 P.M., at his residence, No. 121 W. Phila 
St. Ralph A. MITZEL.
    Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at his 
residence on Friday morning at 10 o'clock.
     Interment in Prospect Hill cemetery.
     The body may be viewed at his residence Thursday evening from 6 until 9 
o'clock.
