TO HOLD DOUBLE FUNERAL 
Daughter, 63, Dies Two Days after mother; 92, both formerly of Glen Rock
 
Less than two days after the death of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Caroline  
Amspacher, and without knowledge of that death, Mrs. Sarah Mitzel, 1428  
North Eden Street, Baltimore, formerly of Glen Rock, died in the Mercy  
Hospital, Baltimore, this morning at 7:35 o'clock. Mrs. Mitzel was under an  
anesthetic for an operation at the time of her mother's death. 
     Mrs. Mitzel was the widow of Emanuel Mitzel, and was age 63 years five  
months and seven days. She was a native of Glen Rock and spent most of her  
life in that vicinity. It hadn't been planned originally to have the funeral  
of Mrs. Amspacher, the mother, at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with services  
in the Evangelical church at Glen Rock. By reason of the turn of events,  
these arrangements have been changed and now there will be a double funeral  
of mother and daughter on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 with the services in  
the Evangelical Church Glen Rock, and interment in the Evangelical Cemetery. 
     Mrs. Mitzel is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George French, Mrs.  
Carl Kauffman and Mrs. Lawrence Childs of Baltimore, and a son Joseph Mitzel  
of Tifflin, Ohio, and two sisters Mrs. William Burns and Mrs. Catherine  
Southcomb, of Baltimore. 
    Mrs. Amspacher, the mother, died at the home of her son-in-law and  
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Burns, 308 Weaver Avenue, Baltimore, on  
Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. She was 92 years of age.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend double funeral from the  
Evangelical church at Glen Rock Saturday July 26 and 1 PM.  Interment in  
Glen Rock Evangelical Cemetery.
