Morelock, wife of Addison Morelock, died at her home, No. 120 East Middle St., at noon, Friday, July 19th. Her age was 54 years, ? months, and 18 days. Mrs. Morelock was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Bowman, of Silver Run, Md., and is survived by her husband, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. William Folmer, of Water St.; Miss Mary E. Morelock, of McSherrystown Avenue, and Sterling Morelock, in the West. She is also survived by her father, Amos Bowman, of Locust Street, one sister, Mrs. Nelson Bankert, of Locust Street; and two brothers, George Bowman, of Silver and John Bowman, of White Hall, Adams County. The deceased was a most estimable woman, being known for her many acts of kindness. She was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran church and Sunday-school, and was most attentive in her duties, taking a part in all church activities. Her death is deplored by a large number of friends and acquaintances. Funeral Monday, July 22d, services at the house at 10 a.m. Rev. A. M. Heilman, of St. Matthew’s Lutheran and Rev. M. J. Roth, of Trinity Reformed Church, officiating. Interment on the family lot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Hanover Herald – July 27, 1912
