Mummert, died at 11:15 a.m. today after a six months illness due to complication of diseases. He was 54 years of age and was an engineer for more than twenty-five years at the plant of the Wells Whip company, and the Barrett tannery. He was a member of the Wellsville lodge, P. O. S. of A., and the Dillsburg lodge, I. O. O. F. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Charles, Robert, Richard, and John, all at home; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas May, Kralltown; Mrs. Maurice Myers, Mt. Airy, and Mrs. Lloyd Speck, Franklintown. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with services in the Evangelical church and interment in the Friend’s meeting house cemetery, near Wellsville.
