Death of John Mummert

John Mummert died at his residence in West Manheim township, near Thomas' Mill,
Tuesday evening about 7 o'clock, aged about 70 years.  He had been sick for some
time, but about two weeks ago was attacked with pneumonia which hastened his
death.  Besides his wife, who is now confined to her bed with sickness, he is
survived by two sons and two daughters.  Mr. Mummert had been an industrious 
farmer and his death will be a great loss to that community.  The funeral will 
take place from his late residence at 9:30 o'clock, on Friday morning.  The 
services and interment will be held at Baer's meeting house, along the York 
road.  Rev. J. A. Metzgar will officiate.
