Death was due to a heart attack. Mrs. Mummert was 70 years old. Her husband died on March 25 at his home, West Railroad street, Spring Grove. Mrs. Mummert was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter N. Strasbaugh, Jackson township. She resided in Spring Grove for 40 years. Mrs. Mummert was a member of the Pleasant Hill congregation of the Church of the Brethren, Jackson township. Surviving are five sons and three daughters, Harvey F. Mummert, Oakland, Calif.; Edgar L. Mummert, Petersburg, Va.; Mrs. John W. Senft, Spring Grove; Mrs. Horace F. Yost and Raymond I. Mummert, Washington, D.C.; Sterling D. Mummert, Salinas, Calif.; Mrs. Shuford K. Beeler, Charlotte, N. C., and Ralph E. Mummert, Denver, Colo.; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, George Strasbaugh, Jackson township; the Rev. Ralph A. Strasbaugh, Shiremanstown, and the Rev. Dr. Edward V. Strasbaugh, York, and a sister, Mrs. John F. Gotwalt, Spring Grove. Funeral arrangement in charge of Malvin A.
