All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Mrs. Rebecca, widow of the late Samuel Mummert, of Hamilton township, died Friday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Thoman, Hanover, aged 76 years, 1 month and 11 days. Mrs. Mummert was convalescing from a severe attack of pneumonia, no further danger was apprehended, but during Thursday night she suffered a hemmorrhage of the lungs, which was the immediate cause of her death, which was almost instantaneous. Funeral on Sunday, April 21. After brief services, the funeral proceeded to Mummert's meeting house, near East Berlin, where services were held and interment made. She is survived by one daughter and one son - Mrs. Phoebe Thoman and Harvey W. Mummert, of Hanover; two brothers - Peter Wehler and Harvey Wehler, and two sisters, Maria Wehler and Mrs. Ambrose Wigle, all of Hanover. New Oxford Item, April 25, 1907
