Mrs. Sarah Musselman died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Emig, of Eichelberger Street, yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock from weakness incident to old age, after several weeks illness. She was 70 years old. Deceased was the daughter of the late Marcus Wortz and wife, and was born on the Forney farm in Conowago Township, near this place. In March, 1851, she was married to Daniel W. Musselman, of Fairfield, who died about 10 years ago. Since then she has been making her home with her sons and daughters, having lived here for several years past. At the time of her death she was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, and had been confirmed in this church during the pastorate of the late Rev. Dr. C. A. Hay, many years ago. Her life was a simple and beautiful one and she was beloved by all who knew her. Mrs. Musselman is survived by three sons and three daughters - Cleason M., of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; George, of Spring Grove, and Charles, of Fairfield; Mrs. Annie Miller and Mrs. Felix Foller, of Gettysburg, and Mrs. Charles H. Emig, of Hanover. Two sisters and a brother also survive - Mrs. Eliza Bushey, of York; Mrs. Louisa Diller, of York Springs, and George Wortz, of Locust Street, this place. Funeral on Wednesday morning; services at the house at 8:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Dr. J. C. Koller. The remains will be taken to Fairfield where further services will be held in the Lutheran Church, and interment made, Rev. Charles Riter officiating.
