Myers died at the home of his son-in-law, Howard Kline, on George Street, last evening at 5 o'clock, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis received on Saturday evening. He was aged 68 years, 11 months and 2 days. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Harry Thoman, of near White Hall, Mrs. Aaron Dubs, of near Dubs' Church, Mrs. Aaron Nace, of McSherrystown, Mrs. William Biddle, of Commons Avenue, and Mrs. Howard Kline, of George Street, this place, and two sons, Milton, of Sinsheim, and Allen, of near Dubs' Church. A sister, Mrs. Catharine Albright, of near Marburg, and two brothers, Daniel C., of near Dubs' Church, and Jacob C., of Baltimore Street, this place, also survive. He was born and reared in West Manheim Township and for some years was a farmer, living on the home place, near Heil's Mill, in that township. He moved to Hanover about twelve years ago and was employed at the Hanover Bottling Works, but for the last four years was unable to work, being afflicted with rheumatism. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Services and interment at Dubs' Church, Rev. J. A. Metzger officiating. Evening Herald, Hanover, PA, December 3, 1903
