Mrs. Ellen Smyser Myers

Mrs. Ellen Smyser Myers, widow of William ? Myers, died Monday, July 15, at 
York, after two years of sickness.  Mrs. Myers was the daughter of E. G. Smyser 
and was born in York, Sept. 11, 1846.  She is survived by the following 
children:  David M., Edward G. S., Mary J., Sarah E., William H. and Susan Myers 
Eyster; also two brothers, Henry M. and James A. Smyser, and one sister, Mrs. 
Philip B. Spahr.  Mrs. Myers was an active charitable worker, being for years 
president of the ladies auxiliary of the York hospital and a member of Zion 
Lutheran church.
