Mary Catharine Myers

Miss Mary Catharine Myers died Friday night, May 9th, at her home, No. 10 Penn 
street, having never recovered fully from a serious operation which was 
undergone last November at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Lancaster.  She was aged 59 
years, 10 months and 21 days.

The deceased was a daughter of the late David and Catharine Myers, of Penn 
township.  For a period of 24 years she lived with the family of the late George 
N. Forney, and Mrs. Eliza Forney, on Carlisle street.

She is survived by one sister, Miss Sarah E. Myers, with whom she resides; three 
brothers, John N. Myers, York street; Joseph Myers, of New Baltimore, and 
Michael Myers, of Paradise.

Funeral Tuesday, May 13th, high mass of requiem at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s 
church, Rev. James A. Huber officiating.  Interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
