The funeral took place on Monday, services at the house conducted by Rev. Thomas G. Baxter pastor of the Pine Grove Presbyterian church of which deceased was a member, assisted by Revs. Alexander Sites and Wallace. Pallbearers were six grandsons Wm McAllister, Abraham L. McLaughlin, Samuel B. McLaughlin, Chester Wilmer and Russell Kisling; S. W. Holden funeral director. He was a son of John Norris a native of Scotland, and was born in Lower Chanceford twp, in December 1832, lived in Lower Chanceford till about 30 years ago when he took up his residence in Peach Bottom. He is survived by five children, John L. Norris, Mrs. Maggie McAllister, Mrs. Cassie Kisling, Mrs. Susanna Matson; also by a brother and sister, Thomas Norris and Mrs. Elizabeth Scott, both residing in Lower Chanceford.
