Overdeer, widow of the late Samuel Overdeer, died at her home, No. 24 Fulton Street, April 14th, aged 67 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Lewis Batterman, of West Manheim township. At the age of twenty years she was married to Samuel Overdeer, a young mason, who died about forty years ago. Mrs. Overdeer has been a resident of Hanover for the past eight years. She was a life-long Lutheran, and since residing here has been a consistent member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran church. She leaves three children, Mrs. Charles F. Karicoaf, of No. 16 Fulton street; Calvin and Miss Sarah Overdeer, at home. Also, a grandchild, Miss Hilda Karicoaf, of Fulton street, and a brother, William Batterman of Pleasant street. Funeral Monday, April 17, short services at the house at 9:30 a.m., further services in St. Matthew’s Lutheran church, Rev. A. M. Heilman officiating. Interment on the family lot in Mt.
