GEORGE MARTIN PIERPONT

George Martin Pierpont, who died last Tuesday morning at the home of Mrs. Mary 
Harold, 401 West Mason alley, with whom he made his home for the past twelve 
years, was buried yesterday afternoon.  Funeral services were held at the home 
of his sister, Mrs. W. H. Swartz, 348 East King street, at 2 o’clock, Rev. Dr. 
George W. Enders, pastor of Christ Lutheran church, officiating.  Four members 
of the Vigilant Fire company, Messrs. Henry Witts, Sdward (sic) Sweitzer, W. H. 
Rodawig and R. H. Kunkle, acted as pall bearers.  Interment was made in Prospect 
Hill cemetery.
