Read, for many years a teacher in the schools in Paradise township, died July 12, at her home near Farmers, after a sickness of nine weeks from tuberculosis. She was aged 40 years, 4 months and 22 days. She taught school at East Berlin until six years ago when she became blind through her duties and has since lived at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Ream. She is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters: Chas. R. Ream, Manchester; Wm. T. Ream, at home; Mrs. Martin Myers, Bair’s Station, and Mrs. Lillian H. Hively, Thomasville.
