All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Bertha May Rebling Miss Bertha May Rebling, of Warren, Pa., who lived with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Carl, 49 McAllister street, this place, during the past eighteen months, died in the York hospital at 5:50 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16th, from a complication of diseases. Her aged was 19 years, 6 months and 28 days. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rebling, former residents of Hanover, who moved from here about 12 years ago. She was taken to the York hospital about six weeks ago, with the hope of effecting a cure, but her condition became gradually more serious until the end came. The deceased is survived by her father, step-mother, one brother, Clarence Rebling, and several step-brothers and step-sisters, at home. The remains were brought to Hanover this morning over the Northern Central Railway and taken to the home of William Carl. Funeral Wednesday, Nov. 19, services at the house at 1 o’clock, Rev. A. S. Dechant, pastor of Emmanuel Reformed church, officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, November 22, 1913
