D. 2, Adam, husband of Alice Raver Reichard, aged 80 years, 10 months and 9 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Monday, Oct 26 at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral home, Glen Rock. Interment in Reformed cemetery, Glen Rock. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. Source: York Newspaper, York, Pennsylvania ~~~~~~~~~~ Adam Reichard, 80, Dies Near Glen Rock; Glen Rock Oct 23 - Adam Reichard, a life-long resident of this section and a carpenter by trade, died at 6:15 o'clock this morning at his home, Glen Rock R. D. 2. Death resulted from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy suffered last Sunday. He was 80 years old. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Raver Reichard; three children, John A. Reichard, Mrs. Theodore Baker and Mrs. John Shepp, all of York; six grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Caroline Falkenstein, Jacobus; Mrs. John Shaffer, Seven Valleys, R. D. 2; Mrs. Lizzie Staub, this place and Mrs. Fred. C. Foust, Glen Rock R. D. 2, and one brother William Reichard, Glen Rock. R. D. 2 Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Geiple Funeral home here. Rev. T. Z. Crist, Harrisburg, former local Reformed pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Reformed cemetery, here. He has been a life long resident of this section and was a carpenter by trade. Besides his widow, Mrs. Alice Raver Reichard, he is survived by three children: John A Reichard, Mrs. Theodore Baker and Mrs. John Shepp, all of York; four sisters, Mrs. Caroline Falkenstine Jacobus; Mrs. John Shaffer, Seven Valley, R D 2, Mrs. Lizzie Staub, Glen Rock; Mrs Fred C Foust, Glen Rock R D 2, and a brother William Reichard, Glen Rock R.D. 2, and six grandchildren.
