Roland, 423 Prospect street. Rev. W. A. Janson officiated. The pallbearers were fellow members of the Sunday school class of Messiah Lutheran congregation. Burial was made in Prospect Hill cemetery. [Seems old to be a freshman in high school, if that's what "first-year" means. His death certificate says he died of acute rheumatic fever after 10 years of aortic insufficiency, so perhaps he was sickly and didn't keep up in school] Additional Comments: Source: Newspaper clippings from the "Roland" family file, #3367, at the York Heritage Trust library, York, PA.
