Clarence W. Roland

Clarence W. "Hap" Roland, 77, husband of Mrs. Alene Seitz Roland, 133 W. Jackson
St., died Saturday at 8 a.m. at their home.

Mr. Roland had been a mail carrier for York Post Office for 30 years before he
retired.

He was a member of Royal and Grantley Fire Companies.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Roland.

Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. Norma Moore, Longsview Road, Seven Valleys RD
2; a son, Clarence N. Roland, Greensboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Heffner Funeral Home of York, 1701
W. Market St.  Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. Uble Frost,
pastor of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
