ROLAND.- On Jan. 22, 1935, at 3:50 a. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman E.
Rishel, York R. D. 5, Manchester township, William W. Roland, aged 75 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at the Rishel home Friday
at 10 a. m. Interment in Prospect Hill cemetery.

Please omit flowers.

Headline: "William Roland Dies Near Pleasureville"

Pleasureville, Jan. 22. - William W. Roland died at 3:50 o'clock this morning at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Rishel, York R. D. 5, Manchester township, near here.  Death was
caused by a complication of diseases. He was aged 75 years, three months and 21 days.  Surviving
are a sister, Mrs. William Overdick, York, and a number of nephews and nieces.  The funeral will be
held Friday with services at the Rishel home at 10 a. m.  Rev. R. R. Rodes will officiate.  Interment
will be made in the Prospect Hill cemetery.  Funeral Director J. M. Shindler, North York, has charge of
funeral arrangements.

The funeral of William W. Roland, who died Tuesday morning, was held at 10 o'clock
Friday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rishel, Manchester township, R. D. 5. 
Rev. R. R. Rodes officiated.  The pallbearers were Harris Zumbrum [sic - Horace Zumbrun probably],
Robert Roland, Charles Shelly, Mordain Overdick and Harry Zumbrum [sic - Zumbrun], Interment was in
Prospect Hill cemetery.
