Mrs. Joseph A. Ruby

Mrs. Sarah Ann Ruby, widow of Joseph A. Ruby, died at 6:45 a.m., yesterday of infirmities of 
old age, at the home of her son, George L. Ruby, 315 East Poplar street, with whom she lived.  
The deceased was 86 years old.  Although her health has been impaired in recent years, Mrs. 
Ruby was able to be about as late as Saturday and her death was unexpected.  She leaves three 
sons, George, Harry and Samuel Ruby, all of York; five grandchildren, Mrs. Ruby, who lived most 
of her life in York, was originally of near East Prospect.  She was a member of Trinity 
Evangelical church.
