Schmidt A dispatch was received Tuesday morning from Washington, D. C., announcing the death of Mrs. George T. Schmidt, which occurred in that city at 4 p.m., Monday, July 29. She had been suffering from a complication of diseases for some time. Her age was about 48 years. Mrs. Schmidt was a native of Hanover, having moved with her husband and family to Washington ten or twelve years ago. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Krebs, and is survived by her husband and four sons, Alfred, Paul, Ambrose and Karl. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. William E. Hoffman, of Park avenue, Hanover. The remains were brought to Hanover Wednesday, July 31st, for interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
