SCHRADE

John Schrade died at his home near Dillsburg, Saturday evening at 11:40, after a 
short illness, of a complication of diseases.  His age was 86 years, 4 months 
and 18 days.  Mr. Schrade was a resident of Franklin township, York Co., for 32 
years.  He at one time lived in Adams County and was engaged in farming.  Mr. 
Schrade was a member of Chestnut Grove Lutheran Church, Latimore.

The deceased is survived by his wife and the following children, George and 
Albert Schrade, Maryland, Harry J. Schrade, North Dakota, Mrs. Louis J. Shirk, 
Harrisburg, Charles E. Schrade, Dillsburg, also by 25 great grandchildren and 3 
great great grandchildren.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning, meeting at the house at 9:30, with 
sercies at Union Church and interment in the Dillsburg Cemetery.  Rev. G. H. 
Eveler officiated.
