Mrs. Eliza Shaffer

Mrs. Eliza Shaffer, widow of Samuel Shaffer, who died nearly 40 years ago, died at her home in 
Manchester Thursday, Sept. 30, aged 82 years.  She is survived by an only daughter, Miss Sarah 
Shaffer, at home; and one son, Dr. George Shaffer, of Cream Ridge, N. J.  Three sisters – Mrs. 
Greenholtz and Mrs. Berry, of Manchester, and Mrs. Stauffer, of Chambersburg, and two brothers 
– Jesse Bixler, of Glen Rock, and Henry Bixler, of Hanover, also survive her.
