Shorb, a York county farmer, died at his late home in Marburg, West Manheim Township, Tuesday afternoon, following a brief illness, from a complication of diseases. He was aged 59 years, 5 months and 8 days. The deceased was a son of the late James and Elizabeth (McMaster) Shorb, and was born in York county, March 14, 1857, where the whole of his life was spent. He leaves his wife and four children: S. H. Shorb, of Hanover; Mrs. Charles Albright, of Porters; Harry Shorb, of Codorus; Mrs. Elmer Snyder, at home; also, two brothers, John Shorb, of McSherrystown, and James Shorb, of Hanover. There are four grandchildren. Funeral, Friday, at 9 a.m., High Mass of requiem in St. Joseph’s church, this place, Very Rev. J. A. Huber officiating. Interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
