Miss Mary Shutt

Miss Mary Shutt, who was stricken with paralysis, Monday, Nov. 4, died Tuesday, 
Nov. 12, at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. 
Lau, at Steelton.  Miss Shutt was a resident of Spring Grove for 15 years.  On 
March 18 she moved with the Lau family to Steelton.  She was 58 years old.  
Surviving are her three brothers, Paul, of Hallam; Joseph, of Kansas City; 
Harry, of Carlisle; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lau, of Steelton, and Mrs. Jacob 
Hoover, of New Oxford.

The body was brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. Jacob Hoover, in New 
Oxford, where funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 14th, and interment made 
in the New Oxford cemetery, Rev. Martin L. Clare, of Spring Grove, officiating.
