SMITH

George W. Smith died at his home on Baltimore Street, Tuesday night at 12:20 
o'clock, aged 79 years.  Mr. Smith was confined to his bed for six week, due to 
a general breakdown caused by old age.  He is survived by his wife, Ann Brown 
Smith, one son, T. B. Smith, three grandchildren, Mrs. Gretna Brandt, Morris and 
Edwin Smith, two brothers, J. A. Smith and W. B. Smith.  Mr. Smith was a hard 
working man, honest in his dealing, with a unlimited amount of patience and a 
great friend of the children, always having a kind word for them.  Funeral will 
be held this Friday afternoon, meeting at the house at 2 o'clock.  The services 
will be in charge of Father Freezer, of the Catholic Church, of Harrisburg.  
Interment will be made in Dillsburg Cemetery.
