SMITH

Isaac E. Smith, one of the oldest residents of Dillsburg, died at his home in 
this place, Tuesday at 1:15 p.m., aged 83 years, 11 months and 2 days.  His 
death was due to complications of diseases, due to old age.  Mr. Smith was a 
hard working man, honest in his dealings, a kind husband and loving father.  He 
was an employee of the firm of the late S. N. Bailey and Brother Warehouse for a 
period of 22 years.  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Olive Lease, who 
resided with her father, one son, Edgar C. Smith.  Funeral services will be held 
Friday morning, meeting at the house at 10 o'clock.  Interment in Dillsburg 
Cemetery.  Rev. Aller, officiating.  The pall-bears are Noah Bailey, A. M. 
Brandt, William Schriver and Joseph Bauman.
