Mrs. James Smith
Yoe, Sept 5 - Jane, wife of James Smith died at her home here this morning at 
10 o'clock. She was aged 77 years, 10 months and 5 days. Death was caused by 
dropsy, from which she had been suffering for some time. She is survived by 
her husband; one brother William Knerr, Muddy Creek Forks, and seven children, 
Oscar Mitzel, Charles Mitsel, Mrs. Alice Gordon and Mrs. E. M. Cook of York; 
Mrs. Sally Taylor, George Mitzel and Ida Mitzel of Laurel. The funeral will be 
held Tuesday at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Evangelical church. Interment 
will be made in the Evangelical church cemetery.

2nd husband James G. Smith (married 1916)
