Mrs. Eliza Lochman Smyser, 86 years of age, a widow of the late E. G. Smyser, founder of the 
Variety iron works, now the Smyser-Boyer company, York, died Saturday, Dec. 28th.  Death was due 
to infirmities attending old age, the deceased having been in declining health for the past 
several years.  Mrs. Smyser was the daughter of the late Rev. A. H. Lochman, D. D.
