Mrs. Ephraim Snyder

Amanda Alice, wife of Ephraim Snyder, North Water street, Spring Grove, died at 
her home this morning at 8 o’clock, following an operation for hernia.  She was 
aged 68 years and 12 days.  Surviving Mrs. Snyder are two children, Reuben 
Snyder, Jacobs’ Mills, cashier of the K???? bank of Hanover, and Mrs. Oscar K. 
Bair, Spring Grove; two grandchildren, Catherine Snyder and Phillip Bair and one 
brother, Samuel Bair, near Mt. Pleasant church of the Brethren.  The funeral 
services will take place Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of her 
daughter, with the Rev. R. K. Mowrer, Hanover, and the Rev. J. N. Faust, Spring 
Grove, officiating.  Further services will be held at Mt. Carmel Lutheran 
church.
