Snyder, 76 years old, Dallastown, was stricken by apoplexy Sunday afternoon and died yesterday morning at 1 o'clock. When stricken at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Carbaugh, 28 Frederick street, Dallastown, the aged man fell down several steps. He was unconscious when picked up and never rallied. Coroner L. U. Zech was called and declared death to be due to apoplexy. The deceased was a retired farmer. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Snyder, and the following children; Mrs. George Witmer, Windsor R. D. 1; Mrs. Hallie Blouse, Hanover; Mrs. Augustus Carbaugh, Dallastown; Charles Snyder, Martinsville, and Harry Snyder, Dallastown. These brothers survive: Samuel and William, of Red Lion; John, Brogueville, and Benjamin, Red Lion R. D. The funeral will be held tomorrow. Hanover Evening Sun - Tuesday, February 28, 1928
