MRS. ANDREW E. SPANGLER

Mrs. Alice Jane Etta Bupp, wife of Andrew E. Spangler, York, died at 11:15 a.m. 
yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. 
Chronister, Spring Grove. She was aged 76 years, seven months and 24 days. Death 
was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Spangler was a member of St. 
Matthew’s Lutheran church, York.

Surviving Mrs. Spangler are her husband and these children: Mrs. T. A. 
Chronister, Spring Grove, Mrs. Edwin R. Reeser and Mrs. Fannie Spangler, and 
Lewis J. Spangler, all of York. She also leaves the following sisters: Mrs. 
Peter Glatfelter, near Glen Rock; Mrs. Emma Miller, New Oxford, and Mrs. 
Virginia Zeigler, and Miss Ella Bupp, East Berlin, and Mrs. Alverta Coulson, 
West York. Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. The 
funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Chronister home. Interment will 
be made in the East Berlin cemetery.
