Sprenkle Found Dead in Bed Well Known Hanover Resident Dies Suddenly of Internal Hemorrhage Hanover - Feb. 8 - Adam Forney Sprenkle, a well known citizen of this place for many years, was found dead in his bed in his room in the Colonial Hotel, on Railroad street, near Union depot today, at noon. Mr. Sprenkle did not come to dinner as usual and investigation was made by George Graves, a son of Mrs. Graves, the proprietor. A physician was called and after an examination, expressed the opinion that he had died at an early hour, probably during the night, as the result of an internal hemorrhage. He seemed to be in his usual health upon retiring. He had been a roomer there for about 20 months. He was the son of the late David and Catherine Dubbs [sic], well known residents of this place and is survived only by a sister, Mrs. Edward Dubbs, Carlisle street, extended, to whose home the body was removed in the afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Dr. A.S. DeChant officiating. Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Additional Comments: Note that his parents were David & Catherine Sprenkle (not Dubbs). His mother's maiden name was Forney.
