Sprenkle, wife of Francis, died at her home today at 12:30 p.m. from a heart affection. She was working in the local tobacco factory of the T.E. Brooks firm, Red Lion, when she was stricken. Chester Kopp, foreman of the factory, who was standing near her when she fainted,held her up until Rev. E.J. Bayne and Emanuel Berkheiser, an employee, carried her to her home, where she died shortly after arriving. Dr. W. J. Shenberger, Windsor, was called but she was dead when he arrived. Her husband, Francis Sprenkle, a painter, who was working in Red Lion at the time, arrived after death occurred. The funeral will be held Saturday morning, at 10 o'clock at her late home. Further services will be held at Shenberger's chapel with Rev. E. J. Bayne officiating. She will be buried in the adjoining cemetery. Her survivors are as follows: Husband; two sons, Harry, of Conrads, and Howard, Red Lion; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Herman, Hanover; two brothers, John H. Howard, Hallam, and Clayton Howard, Harrisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Gilbert, Bowers Beach, N.J., and Mrs. Samuel Herman, Red Lion. She was aged 63 years and 10 months. Dr. L. U. Zech, county coroner, was notified of the sudden death by Dr. Shenberger, and he came here and viewed the body.
