The funeral of Mrs. Mary M. Sprenkle, who died last Saturday morning, was held 
yesterday from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. William Randle, 911… East 
King street.  Short services were conducted at the house at 9:30 o’clock, after 
which the body was taken to the Lutheran church at Yorkana, where concluding 
services were held.  The Rev. C.L. Sones, presiding elder of the York district 
of the United Evangelical church, officiated.  The pallbearers, all grandsons, 
were:  Mesrs. Ervin Landis, Harry, Edwin, Charles, John & George Sprenkle.  
Interment was made in the graveyard adjoining the church edifice.
