Sprenkle Found Dead in Bed William J. Sprenkle was found dead in bed yesterday morning at 5:45 o'clock at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Senft, 277 West Cottage place, with whom he made his home. Death, according to Dr. L.U. Zech, the coroner, who was called, was due to a heart condition. It [portion missing] hour before the man's body was discovered by his daughter, who, intended awakening him at the usual time. He was aged 71 years, 5 months and 23 days. The deceased leaves the following children: Mrs. J. R. Able, Hallam; Mrs. Lloyd Trimble, 247 East Poplar street, this city; C.R. Sprenkle of the same address; Mrs. Lewis Senft, with whom he resided, and H.S. Sprenkle, Red Lion. He also leaves two brothers, David Sprenkle, of New Freedom, and John Sprenkle, of this city. Funeral services will be conducted at the Senft home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The body will be interred in Greenmount cemetery. --------- Also: Publication unknown, 9-4-1926 handwritten on clipping William J. Sprenkle The Funeral of William J. Sprenkle, who was found dead in bed last Wednesday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Senft, 277 West Cottage place, with whom he resided, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Service were conducted at the Senft residence by Rev. F.H.Sanders, pastor of Grace Evangelical church. The pallbearers were two sons, Harry and Chester Sprenkle, and four sons-in-law, Lewis Senft, Lloyd Trimble, Jacob R. Able and Warren W. Gibbs. Burial was made in Greenmount cemetery. The funeral was in charge of Funeral Director Furnace b. Olewiler, Red Lion. Additional Comments: William J. Sprenkle was the son of Andrew Sprenkle & Elizabeth Muggle. Note that pallbearer Warren W. Gibbs was not a son-in-law. Daughters: Mrs. J.R. Abel (Abel) = Sallie Sprenkle Mrs. Lloyd Trimble = Maggie I. Sprenkle Mrs. Lewis Senft = Daisy M.
