JOSIAH STABLEY DIES NEAR YORKANA AS RESULT OF STROKE
Yorkanna, Sept. 22 -- Josiah Stabley, Windsor Township farmer, of near this 
place, died 10 o'clock this morning from the effects of the paralytic stroke 
which he suffered Monday while he was working in the field. Mr. Stabley was 
aged 78 years, one month and eight days.
     Surviving him is his wife, and daughter, Mrs. Nathaniel Dietz, York, RD 
7; three brothers, Fred Stabley, York, and William and Christopher Stabley, 
both in Dallastown; a sister Mrs. Walter Mitzel, Winterstown; four 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
     The funeral will be held from the late home, Friday, at 9:30 AM. 
Interment be made in Canadochly Cemetery. Funeral director George W. Ansine, 
East Prospect, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
