Porter's - Funeral services were held last Friday over the body of Mary 
Stauffer, widow of Peter Stauffer, aged 72 years, death being due to a stroke of 
apoplexy.  Rev. Mr. NEWCOMER, of Hanover, conducted the services at the home and 
at the local United Evangelical church, with interment in the adjoining church 
cemetery.  A son and daughter and two sisters survive.  The husband died ten 
years ago.
