Mrs. Amanda Sterner, widow of the late Philip Sterner, died at her home in 
Hanover Tuesday, June 4, from a complication of diseases, aged 68 years.  She 
was a Miss Metzler, of Conewago township, Adams county, and was married about 50 
years ago to Philip Sterner, of Union township, Adams county, who died in 
September, 1902.  She is survived by three sons and five daughters.
