Swartzbaugh, proprietor of the Highland Inn, West Lampeter township, Lancaster R. 6 died in his home there Monday morning at 2 o'clock at the age of 68 years. Death followed a illness of a year. He was a son of the late Levi and Nancy Mummert Swartzbaugh, and was born near Hanover, June 25, 1874. He was a member of Hanover aerie No 1406, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hanover. Surviving are his wife, who before marriage was Lillian Radel, three children Earl H. Swartzbaugh, Hanover; Mrs. Frank W. Aument, Lancaster, and Raymond W. Swartzabaugh Edgewood Arsental; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and one sister Mrs. Edward Poist. McSherrystown. Funeral Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the funeral home of Fred F. Groff, Inc. 234 West Orange Street Lancaster. Interment in Woodward Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7-9 o'clock. The Gettysburg Times, Wed.
