All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Gettysburg Times 27 Sept 1927 Tuesday Evening Levi Swartzbaugh, who resided at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Poist, McSherrystown, died Sunday afternoon at 5:50 o'clock from complication of diseases at the St. Joseph's hospital, Lancaster, where he had been a patient. Mr. Swartzbaugh was a life long resident of Hanover. He was married to the late Nancy Mummert, who died in April 1925. He is survived by two sons; George Swartzbaugh, Lancaster; Lewis Swartzbaugh, Hanover and a daughter, Mrs. Ada Poist, McSherrystown, where he made his home, and one sister Susannah Wildasin, Blooming Grove. A number of grandchildren also survive. Funeral services at the home of Mrs. Paul Baker, Hanover, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
