Mrs Levi Swartzbaugh

Nancy Rebecca Swartzbaugh wife of Levi Swartsbaugh died at her home 19 Third 
street at 11:45 am today. She was aged 84 years and one month. Death was due to 
a complication of diseases and followed an illness from dropsy about 6 weeks in 
duration. Her parents were the late Jacob and Lydia (Trone) Mummert who resided 
about 5 miles from Hanover. The deceased was married in 1860. She was a lifelong 
member of St Matthew's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband who is (looks 
like- 88 years of age) and the following children. Lewis(? ink blot) Swartzbaugh 
and Mrs. Charles Craumer West Middle Street. George Swartzbaugh, Lancaster and 
Mrs. Edward F Poist McSherrystown. Also surviving are her two sisters Mrs. 
Elisabeth ( hard to read this name ) Hock Mrs. Mary Mummert Baer Ave 24 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock 
with services at the house. The Rev. (can't read this entire section) Interment 
will take place in Mt Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Nancy R. Swartzbaugh, wife of Levi Swartzbaugh, died at her home in Hanover 
on Thursday, aged 84 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases. 
Surviving are her husband who is 88 years of age and the following children: 
Lewis Swartzbaugh and Mrs. Charles Craumer of Hanover; George Swartzbaugh, 
Lancaster, and Mrs. Edward F. Poist of McSherrystown. Also surviving are two 
sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Heck and Mrs. Mary Mummert, Hanover.
