All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Mrs. Sadie Wirt Taylor Word was received in this place of the death of Mrs. Sadie Wirt Taylor, which occurred at the home of her son, Millard Taylor, in Holsington, Kansas, May 26th, from an attack of acute pneumonia. Mrs. Taylor was a sufferer from chronic bronchitis and spent much time in the West. For the past two years she lived with her son. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Wirt and was born in Hanover, Jan. 26, 1868. The family moved to Parsons, Kansas, in 1877, where she attended school and later entered Baker University. In 1886 she was married to Walter W. Taylor, of Clay Center, Kansas, and spent the earlier years of her married life there. She was a granddaughter of the late Capt. and Mrs. Jeremiah Kohler, of this place, and a niece of George M. Kohler, and Albert D. Kohler, of Parsons, Kansas. Besides her son, she is survived by an older sister, Mrs. Benjamin Lyons, of Berkeley, California, who was unable to attend the funeral on account of illness, and a brother, William J.
