Thomas, aged 66 years, was found dead at the home of her sister, Mrs. Louis Schriver, 606 West King Street, York, about 8:30 Thursday morning. Miss Thomas, who retired in apparently good health, failed to appear for breakfast at her usual time that morning. Mrs. Schriver went upstairs investigate and found her lifeless body in bed. Dr. H. H. Jones pronounced death due to paralysis. Coroner J. H. Dehoff examined the body several hours later and his diagnosis was the same as that of Dr. Jones. Miss Thomas formerly lived in Spring Grove and has resided with Mrs. Schriver for about a year. Harry Stauffer, of New Baltimore, near Hanover, is a nephew of the deceased.
