Mrs. William S. Treat

Mrs. Annie S. Treat, wife of William S. Treat, Violet Hill, York R. D. 2, died at her home 
Sunday evening at 10:30 o’clock, at the age of 54 years.  Death followed a lingering illness.  
Mrs. Treat was a daughter of the late Solomon and Emma Sowers King, and was born July 22, 1879.  
Surviving are her husband; one son, James E. Treat, Violet Hill; a daughter, Alice V. Treat, at 
home, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Dull, York.  Mrs. Amanda Sterner, Jefferson avenue, Hanover, is 
an aunt of the deceased.  The funeral was held this morning at 10 o’clock from the Edward W. 
Baumeister mortuary, South Queen and Jackson streets, York.  Interment was made in Greenmount 
cemetery, York.
