He was aged 73 years, 5 months and 14 days. The deceased was a retired farmer and for some time made his home in Hanover, leaving here about a year ago. He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Jane Toms, of Creagertown, Md., and the following children: Mrs. Lillie Hess, of Locust Street; Mrs. William Routson, McAllister Street; Mrs. Ella Wilhelm, of Broadway; Lawrence Trimmer, High Street; Mrs. John Wolf, of Baltimore; Mrs. Norman Reaver, of Taneytown; Mrs. Augustus Pichler and David Trimmer, Jr., Chicago. Miss Della Trimmer, at home. Also, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Clarence and Geraldine Rickrode, of Broadway, survive. Funeral at the house Tuesday at 1 p.m., further services and interment at the Reformed church, Taneytown, Rev. Brady, officiating. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 3, 1916
