All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Charles Wilbur Trone Charles Wilbur Trone died Monday evening, May 29th at 5 o’clock in the York Hospital, following an operation for an obstruction of the bowels, performed Sunday morning at 11 o’clock. He was only taken sick on Saturday morning, and later rushed to the hospital. He was aged 16 years and 2 months. The deceased is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis J. Trone of York Street, who survive him, also two sisters, Misses Pauline and Mildred Trone, both at home. He as a Junior in the Hanover High School, and was held in high esteem by both teachers and classmates, and was a bright scholar. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and Sunday School. The body was brought to his home No. 207 York Street Tuesday morning. Funeral Thursday at 2 p.m., services at the house. Rev. A. M. Heilman, of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, assisted by Rev. M. J. Roth, of Trinity Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 3, 1916
