SUNNYBURN ITEMS
The funeral of Mattie UREY was held at Chanceford church on Tuesday the 23d.  
The was in her ninety-fifth year.

On last Wednesday Mrs. Mattie UREY, near Woodbine, was badly burned by her 
clothes catching fire, while her daughter was out, and being quite feeble, was 
not able to extinguish the fire. He screams soon brought her daughter, who 
threw water on her, putting out the fire. Death brought relief on Saturday 
night. The funeral services were held Tuesday in Chanceford Church by Rev A. 
E. Stuart.  She was 94 years 3 months and 4 days. The pall-bearers were 
grandsons Harry, Elwood and Sylvester UREY, Ellis BURKE, Wm. B. GARVINE and Ed 
BURKINS.  Undertaker Elwood Skelton of Airville. Her son Peter and daughter 
Martha survive her.
